Durante su recorrido por Isla Cañas, pudieron disfrutar de sus paisajes, biodiversidad y riqueza cultural. Como parte de la experiencia, también conocieron nuestra escuela complementaria y observaron las clases en acción, conectándose de cerca con el impacto educativo en la comunidad.

Esta visita marca el inicio de una nueva iniciativa: integrar el turismo responsable como una oportunidad para fortalecer el desarrollo local. A partir de ahora, cada visitante podrá incluir en su recorrido una parada en Zona Waved, generando conexión, visibilidad y apoyo para nuestros programas.

Desde la experiencia en organismos multilaterales y políticas públicas hasta la pedagogía, el deporte y la consolidación del modelo Zona Waved, cada uno aporta una visión estratégica que impulsa nuestro crecimiento y fortalece nuestro impacto.

In February, we celebrated a major milestone for Zona Waved: the installation of satellite connectivity thanks to Darient, expanding educational opportunities for our students. We also welcomed the first tourists to visit our school through an international partnership, and introduced our Board of Directors, leaders who inspire Panamanian youth.

Thanks to Darient, official sponsor and specialist in technological solutions, our complementary school on Isla Cañas now has reliable internet access, overcoming one of the community's main barriers.
