Ha sido un honor no solo presentar los resultados de la primera gira médica en Isla Cañas junto a Voluntarias Hospital del Niño y Fundación Latidos el año pasado, sino también compartir un plan de acción ante el Ministro de Salud, Dr. Fernando Boyd Galindo, miembros de Meduca y el Honorable Alcalde del Municipio de Tonosí, Anibal Domínguez.

It has been an honor not only to present the results of the first medical tour in Isla Cañas alongside Voluntarias Hospital del Niño and Fundación Latidos last year but also to share an action plan with the Minister of Health, Dr. Fernando Boyd Galindo, members of Meduca, and the Honorable Mayor of the Municipality of Tonosí, Anibal Domínguez.

Nele, nuestra voluntaria de Alemania, dejó su huella en Isla Cañas al sumergirse en la comunidad y las clases de Zona Waved. Durante un mes, vivió la experiencia Marea, compartiendo conocimientos, aprendiendo de la cultura local y creando lazos inolvidables.

Nele, our volunteer from Germany, left her mark on Isla Cañas by immersing herself in the community and Zona Waved classes. For a month, she lived the Marea Experience, sharing knowledge, learning about the local culture, and building unforgettable connections.

The Marea Volunteering Program is a unique opportunity for those who wish to immerse themselves in the Isla Cañas community and actively contribute to education, sports, and sustainable development. Our volunteers live in Isla Cañas for a set period, participating in Zona Waved classes, supporting educational and community activities, and getting to know the local culture up close.
